A range of new diagnostic imaging products and information management systems were demonstrated on the Carestream booth at DRK 2015, held recently in Hamburg, Germany.

Vue Clinical Collaboration Platform
Carestream demonstrated important new features for its healthcare IT platforms that manage, store and share patient data and medical imaging exams. Carestream’s new Clinical Collaboration Platform can boost collaboration among clinicians, break down walls between ancillary departments, sites and networks and provide physicians with a single view of critical patient records and information.
The Clinical Collaboration Platform enables healthcare providers to capture, archive, manage and distribute clinical data such as images, videos, photos and reports related to the patient from different ancillary departments such as endoscopy and dermatology. This creates a patient-centric clinical record that complements the electronic health record. Capturing structured data will also deliver greater clinical insight with interactive reports where a single click of a hyperlink takes physicians to the actual data. This Web-enabled platform can be used for telemedicine and to provide specialty care where it’s traditionally not available. In addition, the platform also offers a secure digital patient portal that allows patients to download, view, store and share their medical imaging studies with physicians and specialists.
Carestream Vue RIS
The innovative new CARESTREAM Vue RIS improves radiology workflow by automating the patient’s diagnostic journey from order entry to results distribution, reducing errors and improving patient care. The Web-based radiology information system is accessible from anywhere, adapts to the needs of multi-site enterprises or hospitals and integrates mammography workflows, peer review and reporting to eliminate disparate systems. Communication with HIS and other systems via HL7 ensures data consistency between HIS/RIS and PACS.
Vue Motion
CARESTREAM Vue Motion is a universal Viewer that gives referring physicians and clinicians real-time, on-demand access to imaging results and patient data in order to provide more responsive patient care. Vue Motion is a zero-footprint vendor-neutral image viewer that uses a web browser or information embedded in an EMR portal to provide easy access to imaging data and patient information by on-site or remote clinicians. Vue Motion runs on all web-enabled devices such as PCs, tablets and smart phones, and allows full integration into all PACS or DICOM Archives.
CARESTREAM My Vue Patient Portal
The CARESTREAM My Vue Patient Portal is an innovative solution that empowers patients to access and share their imaging results between facilities, physicians, specialists and other healthcare providers. Carestream’s MyVue is a secure portal that allows patients to play an integral role in their medical care, helping reduce duplicate radiographic exams and the time, staff and budget spent producing CDs, DVDs or film.
