Carestream systems have been on Premier’s approved list of products for multiple years.
The group purchasing contract for Carestream radiology imaging systems includes: CARESTREAM DRX Plus Detectors, CARESTREAM DRX-Evolution Plus System, CARESTREAM DRX-Revolution Mobile X-ray System, CARESTREAM DRX-Mobile Retrofit Kit, CARESTREAM DRX-Ascend System and the company’s DR accessories.

Carestream’s third generation of DRX Plus Detectors are faster and lighter than previous generations and offer a host of features to help users achieve higher productivity and improved image quality. The new CARESTREAM DRX Plus 3543 and DRX Plus 3543C detectors have received FDA 510(k) Clearance and are available in the United States and Europe.
The CARESTREAM DRX-Evolution Plus is an upgraded version of its top-of-the-line DR room that offers an extended tube column for greater flexibility in high-ceiling rooms, a new high-performance generator, an optional table to accommodate patients up to 705 pounds; and forward-looking design specifications to embrace new advanced imaging applications as they become available.
The DRX-Revolution set new standards for bedside image quality, rapid and comfortable patient positioning, safe and easy movement of the mobile system from one area to another, and higher productivity for technologists. The CARESTREAM DRX-Ascend is a fully featured DR system that can be configured with a wall stand and table at a price that’s affordable for imaging centers, orthopaedic facilities, urgent care clinics and hospital radiology departments.
