Novation Awards Innovative Technology Designation to Carestream’s DRX-Revolution Mobile X-ray System

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Nov. 20 – Carestream’s DRX-Revolution Mobile X-ray System was recently awarded the coveted Innovative Technology designation by Novation at its recent Innovative Technology Expo. The award was based on a review by more than 200 attendees from U.S. hospitals who serve on a Novation council or task force and participated in the Expo. These opinion leaders indicated the DRX-Revolution offered incremental benefits over other products available on the market.

Carestream’s DRX-Revolution is now listed as an Innovative Technology product within Novation’s online contract catalog, which is accessible by the more than 100,000 members and affiliates of VHA Inc., UHC, Children's Hospital Association, and Provista served by Novation.

The DRX-Revolution provides wireless access to high-quality images in as little as five seconds; features a collapsible column that improves visibility during movement and positioning; and provides the ability to easily maneuver the system in tight spaces.

Carestream’s X-Factor design offers flexibility by enabling each DRX detector to work with all DRX systems within a healthcare provider’s environment. The DRX detector can be deployed in different imaging systems throughout the day and night wherever it is needed. Carestream’s comprehensive DRX family includes systems that can either retrofit—or replace—existing in-room or mobile systems to address the needs of virtually any imaging environment.
