ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 3 — Hundreds of local employees of Carestream Health have pledged more than $1.5 million in charitable support of United Way of Greater Rochester’s annual giving campaign over the last five years.
“Our headquarters-based employees have chosen the Greater Rochester area as a place where we proudly live, work, raise our families and build great lives. By contributing to United Way’s annual campaign, they have also helped ensure our community remains a strong, vibrant place for everyone,” said Diana L. Nole, President of Carestream’s Digital Medical Solutions business, and honorary chairperson of the company’s annual United Way campaign and a member of the Board of Directors of United Way of Greater Rochester.
United Way of Greater Rochester continues to be a leader among United Ways in America, setting a high standard for fundraising and investing dollars where they are needed most. United Way of Greater Rochester invests funds in programs that demonstrate measurable results for people in need and the community as a whole.

Rochester employees from Carestream will again be supporting United Way’s annual Day of Caring on May 10. “We have 150 employees participating in United Way’s longstanding Day of Caring event, and it promises to be both a fun and productive day for all. I am very proud that Carestream people join with thousands of local residents who want to see Rochester at its best,” said Ralph E. Olney, Chief Human Resources Officer, Carestream.
