Crystal Run Healthcare chose Carestream Health over several competing suppliers because the company’s broad portfolio of digital solutions features exceptional image quality, reliability and information management capabilities.

Beginning in January, Carestream Health will install CARESTREAM PACS and CARESTREAM RIS for enterprise-wide radiology scheduling and management of images and data, along with two KODAK DIRECTVIEW DR 7500 Systems and a KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR 975 System for efficient digital capture of patient x-ray images.
Carestream Health’s integrated RIS/PACS can support environments ranging from a single provider to complex regional and national healthcare networks that include dozens of healthcare facilities. After an image is captured with Carestream Health’s scalable DR or CR systems, it can be viewed in minutes on the PACS by on-site clinicians. The RIS provides advanced scheduling and workflow information, as well as the status of radiology exams and reports.
Carestream Health also has designated Crystal Run Healthcare a “Center of Excellence” site, bringing its total to more than 25 such locations around the world. “Center of Excellence” facilities are so designated because of their commitment to leading-edge technology and patient care. In addition to hosting visits for other healthcare professionals who want to see systems from Carestream Health in action, these facilities collaborate with the company’s research and design experts to develop new digital imaging and healthcare IT solutions to meet the needs of healthcare facilities around the world.
