With its new state-of-the-art pilot coating system, Tollcoating.com will provide roll coating (one, two and three roll; forward and reverse), gravure, Mayer rod, polishing bar, and slot die coating to supplement its extensive research and formulation services.
Pilot coating enables customers to conduct small-scale production runs with the ability to quickly test and implement changes at a very low cost—without the drawback of having to stop production. Tollcoating.com’s pilot coating line will be located in the same facility as its production machines and will provide CDT, UV curing, hot air drying and lamination capabilities similar to the full scale lines. Using the same resources to execute development and scale-up enables Tollcoating.com to deliver world class development-to-production cycle times.
