HEMEL HEMPSTEAD, U.K., May 31 — Due to unprecedented demand for its RIS, PACS and VNA Solutions, Carestream Health UK Limited are currently recruiting for the following positions:
Healthcare IT Project Managers:
We are looking for experienced project managers for our Health Care Information Systems (RIS, PACS & VNA) who have a strong knowledge of IT and can drive combined Healthcare Information Systems/DR (Digital Radiography) projects on schedule and on budget with high customer satisfaction. The successful candidates will plan, execute and drive assigned projects to closure & customer acceptance according to pre-defined deadlines and within allocated budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of Carestream team members, third-party contractors and customer’s staff in order to deliver projects according to the plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. The project manager also provides support to the sales team during the latest stage of the sales cycle by estimating required resources & timing, drafting a high level project plan and participating to customer meetings.
This role requires a good knowledge in computer science; experience in Healthcare IT Business/ IT business. Five years experience in project management is a minimum with a proven track record of successful project implementation.

Clinical Applications & Image Quality Specialists:
We are looking for Clinical Application Specialists who can provide training, optimization and Image Quality set up on our Health Care Information Systems (RIS, PACS & VNA). They will also provide, where necessary, telephone application and software support for problem identification and resolution. The successful candidate will provide on-site training and support of new, installed and upgraded Health Care Information Systems (RIS, PACS & VNA) and will plan and deliver training to meet the needs of our customers and in accordance with the Project Plan and contractual deliverables.
This role requires excellent communication skills and good radiographic and anatomical knowledge with broad experience of working across the major imaging modalities including Cross Sectional (CT/MRI, etc.) and would appeal to Radiographers looking to take their first step into the commercial world.

Technical Implementation Specialists:
We are looking for Technical Implementation Specialists who can implement our Health Care Information Systems (RIS, PACS & VNA) as well as third party system integrations. The successful candidate will be required to make qualified technical decisions, to implement against requirements and to assist in solving customer requests and problems. The candidate will have knowledge of relevant technologies and the achievable service levels. The candidate will also have some knowledge of the clinical and administrative functions of PACS, RIS and VNA Applications.
The role’s responsibilities will include the technical qualification, local implementation, integration, training and support of Carestream PACS and RIS solutions. The successful candidate should have good knowledge of Database design, implementation/development, administration, dataguard, backups and recovery, tuning, Oracle DBA knowledge, knowledge and development of simple integration components, (COM object based interfaces, Web interfaces, XML, etc.), Microsoft 2003/2008 Server support, and an understanding/knowledge of Medical Standards: DICOM, HL7 and IHE.
