Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical Supply Chain (DLA) and the Department of Veterans Affairs National Acquisition Center (VA NAC) are responsible for the acquisition and management of radiology and imaging systems, subsystems, and components along with maintenance services, training, and incidental services related to the supply of the equipment for customers located in the United States and worldwide.

SPE2D1-17-D-0019 is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract providing the supply of radiology and imaging systems and accessories along with maintenance services, training, and incidental services related to the purchase of Carestream equipment.

Authority to issue delivery orders
The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support - Medical Supply Chain (DLA) and the Department of Veterans Affairs National Acquisition Center (VA NAC) are the only activities authorized to place delivery orders under this ID/IQ contract, except as otherwise delegated in writing by the DLA or VA NAC.

However, orders may be issued in support of requirements from the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), or other Federal Agencies/Organizations and foreign governments through the DoD foreign military sales programs.

Digital Imaging Network –Picture Archiving and Communication System –DIN-PACS IV

Description
DLA Troop Support manages the ID/IQ contract for PACS systems and components, as well as documentation, training, maintenance service, and incidental services related to the digital environment for imaging within federally funded medical facilities.  Vendors must meet strict minimum characteristics to be included on the DIN-PACSIV contract.

Can be purchased
SPE2D1-16-D-0016 provides PACS solutions that can be purchased by all DoD facilities, as well as the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and other federal government facilities, either CONUS or OCONUS.  Additionally, accessories, maintenance services, training, and incidental services related to the purchase of Carestream PACS are available through this contracting vehicle. 

Authority to issue delivery orders
Carestream’s DIN-PACS IV contract may be used to issue purchase orders for any federally funded medical facility. Both the Defense Logistics Agency-Troop Support and the VA National Acquisition Center can place orders for any of their federal government customers. Orders may be issued for individual hospitals or for entire regions/Veterans Integrated Service Networks.

Description
SPE2D1-18-D-7004 is for Medical Equipment, maintenance of Medical Equipment, and/or Spare parts/Repair parts of medical equipment through the DLA Electronic Catalog System (eCAT).

Can be purchased
Medical equipment, as defined as that equipment used by medical professionals, technicians, and laboratory personnel to perform a treatment, test or operation. Along with medical equipment, the following may be required: classroom training, repair parts, maintenance of the item and installation when applicable.  The value of each individual item must be $250,000 or less.

Only non-configurable items, for example detectors and supplies, may be ordered using eCAT.
