Carestream Health Launches Dynamic New Website

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Aug. 18 — Featuring a “virtual host”, interactive product demonstrations and more, Carestream Health, Inc.’s new company website makes it easier and faster for customers to obtain information and support online, while giving them a dynamic and engaging experience.

      The new site——is just that: “We didn’t simply modify our former site,” said Jean-Marc Laigle, the company’s Director of Worldwide Marketing. “Rather, we built a completely new one from the ground up. In doing so, we researched the needs and wants of radiology professionals and healthcare administrators with respect to sites like ours. And we took the findings into account in our design, layout and feature set.”

      The new site offers an intuitive design, easy/logical navigation and extensive end-user content, including streaming case study videos and other features offering users the opportunity to learn about Carestream Health and its world-class products. Additionally, the site contains a reference library, RSS news feeds and other helpful information for customers.

      A few details:

·         Virtual host – Offers users the option of engaging an interactive, site host who provides a guided overview of Carestream Health.

·         Workflow-driven navigation – Enables users to walk through a diagnostic imaging “cycle of care” and build a complete workflow solution tailored to their organization’s needs—from administering patient information and capturing digital images to diagnosis, information management and beyond.

·         Reference library – Provides product support, end user and “thought leader” content to help customers overcome challenges, achieve their goals and optimize their practice/facility.

·         Web 2.0 platform – Leverages the power of the Internet to serve up dynamic, engaging content that is constantly being refreshed.

·         Molecular imaging gallery – Interacts with the user to provide high-quality optical molecular images captured with the company’s technology.

“Our new website is a natural progression of the Carestream Health brand and our continuing evolution as a standalone company,” Laigle added. “We are creating an online experience that positively differentiates Carestream Health from our competitors. This is the first step in a series of online improvements that will help us better serve customers, partners and other key audiences.”     

The new is currently available in English—more languages will be added throughout 2008 including Spanish, French, German, Chinese and Japanese.
