Waiv Console Max The DIRECTVIEW CR System WAIV Console Max which supports the Classic and Elite CR Systems comes with the CPU, a 19" Touch Screen Monitor, Keyboard, and a Mouse. The WAIV Console Max also comes with the following software options: EVP Plus Imaging Processing Software Provides highly automated, state-of-the-art image processing. Uses multi-frequency image processing to increase latitude while preserving detail contrast in both over-penetrated and under-penetrated areas. Automatically processes and delivers diagnostic quality images to PACS based on look preference that can be uniquely specified by each site. Includes grid line suppression that prevents aliasing artifacts and application of a collimator mask. Five independent controls are available for the user for image adjustments in an intuitive user interface. Low Exposure Optimization Software Low-exposure optimization minimizes the appearance of quantum noise in areas of low-exposure to capture high-quality diagnostic details. Helps reduce dose while retaining good image quality. Black Surround Software This black surround option masks the white collimated area to eliminate foreground flare. It defines your area of interest automatically, and allows manual selection of complex anatomical structures for rapid, accurate collimation verification. Grid Detection and Suppression Software Improves image quality by detecting and suppressing grid line artifacts from stationary grids. DICOM Store Allows DICOM images to be sent from the CR to PACS or to a workstation deployed on the network.
