Carestream Health Announces New Orders For Its Medical Imaging and Healthcare IT Solutions

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 25 — Highlighting recent orders for its imaging and information management systems around the globe, Carestream Health, Inc., reported that sales of its digital medical solutions were significantly higher through August of 2008 as compared to the same period last year.

“Our global sales have risen dramatically, which we attribute to our innovative technology solutions in both our digital imaging and healthcare IT product lines,” said Michael W. Jackman, President, Global Sales & Services, Medical Solutions, Carestream Health.

Jackman added that customers have applauded the performance of the company’s integrated RIS/PACS solution and its flexibility in supporting environments ranging from a single provider to complex regional and national healthcare networks that include dozens of healthcare facilities. 

Recent orders in Asia, Australia, South America, Europe and the Middle East include:

  • Beijing Ditan Hospital, China, purchased a CARESTREAM PACS system.
  • Beijing Ji Shui Tan, China, ordered a KODAK DRYVIEW DR 7500 and three KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR 975 systems.
  • Bundeswehrkrankenhaus, Germany, ordered a CARESTREAM PACS.
  • Dr. Hilde Durant, Belgium, ordered a CARESTREAM PACS, two DIRECTVIEW CR systems and a DRYVIEW 6800 laser imager.
  • Geraldton Regional Hospital, Australia, purchased a CARESTREAM PACS with optional integrated OrthoView orthopedic templating software.
  • Inner Mongolia Hospital, China, purchased two DR 7500 systems.
  • Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait, ordered a CARESTREAM PACS.
