ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 11 —Thomas R. Andersson has joined Carestream Health, Inc., as General Manager, U.S. & Canada Medical Sales Region. He becomes a member of the company’s senior sales leadership team, reporting to Michael W. Jackman, President, Global Sales & Services, Medical Solutions, Carestream Health. In this role, based at the company’s worldwide headquarters in Rochester, N.Y., Andersson will provide vision and strategic direction for the company’s team of sales professionals that serves a broad range of unique healthcare providers across the U.S. and Canada. Andersson has more than 20 years’ experience and a proven track record in the medical imaging profession, combined with a strong background in sales at all levels. He brings with him outstanding business management skills, strategy implementation capabilities, business development knowledge and sales management expertise. Most recently, Andersson was President of DMS Health Technologies, a company headquartered in Fargo, N.D., that sells, installs and services a range of medical imaging and patient monitoring products. Prior to that, he held senior leadership positions at Fuji, Delft Diagnostic Imaging & Medical Technology Services, and General Electric. While at General Electric, he completed the GE Financial Management Program and received Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Andersson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration—graduating magna cum laude with recognition in Finance—from the University of Cincinnati. Andersson and his family are in the process of relocating to the Rochester area.
