KODAK Simulation Film for Radiation Oncology
KODAK simulation film and KODAK LANEX regular screens are designed to work together to reduce your exposure technique worries and achieve excellent image quality. In addition, this screen-film combination may enable you to use lower exposure techniques compared to those required by your current system.
Benefits of KODAK simulation film, a wide exposure latitude film, include excellent image quality even when exposure settings are difficult to control, and better visualization of the full range of anatomical landmarks:
- Skin line and the chest wall on breast simulations
- Soft tissues of the neck and the bony details of the cervical spine
- Lung markings and the heart and mediastinum
This film is a green-sensitive film that is compatible with green-light-emitting screens. If you currently use LANEX regular screens or other green-light-emitting screens, this film is a drop-in.
KODAK simulation film may be processed in your current film processor and chemistry.
A pair of LANEX regular screens may be purchased to adapt your existing cassettes for KODAK simulation film.
The KODAK X-OMAT cassette C-1 has a window for use with identification cameras. KODAK simulation film is also compatible with the KODAK X-OMATIC identification camera model 2 and the KODAK x-ray film identification printer, model B.
