Carestream Executive Describes Innovative Diagnostic Imaging Processes From Around the Globe at AHRA Conference

ROCHESTER, N.Y., July 16 — Todd Minnigh, Carestream’s Vice President, Worldwide Sales & Marketing Development, will give a presentation entitled “Patient Care Over There: What We Can Learn from Radiology Practices Around the Globe” at the AHRA 2014 Association for Medical Imaging Management conference. Minnigh will speak on Monday, Aug. 11, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and Wednesday, Aug. 13, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. The tradeshow and exhibit will be held at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Md.

Minnigh will discuss how healthcare facilities around the world are addressing the challenges of providing imaging services that satisfy diagnostic requirements while simultaneously delivering patient satisfaction and meeting cost constraints.

His presentation will look at National Health Service hospitals in the U.K., private hospitals in Chile, imaging centers in Brazil, public and private institutions in Germany and France as well as healthcare facilities in Russia.

“I will describe the people, facilities, processes and technologies used for imaging patients under very diverse conditions. Innovative approaches are being deployed around the globe that we can use to establish best practices at U.S. facilities,” said Minnigh. “One example is how a closely timed, synchronized patient flow at an imaging center in São Paulo allowed a small facility to meet a growing demand for imaging studies.”

Carestream will display its latest medical imaging solutions at Booth #212 at the AHRA exhibit hall.
