KODAK EKTASCAN HG & HN films
KODAK EKTASCAN HG films are designed to provide superb image recording with red laser printers. The extremely fine grain and cool image tone of the films is particularly useful for ultrasound (US), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine (NM), and computed radiography (CR) systems. EKTASCAN HN film is coated on a blue base; EKTASCAN HG film is coated on a slightly bluer base for a colder image tone.

Advantages include:
- Spectral sensitivity designed especially for high-quality continuous-tone image recording with KODAK EKTASCAN laser printers using red exposure source
- Extremely fine grain emulsion with a cool image tone for high-resolution imaging
- Choice of processing with standard or rapid cycles in newer-generation processors
- Eliminate the need for a darkroom—optional roomlight and fast load packaging for loading in
- KODAK EKTASCAN laser printers in full roomlight
- Compatible for use with other red-Iaser printers
Completes an advanced imaging system that includes the printer, a KODAK X-OMAT processor, and KODAK processing chemicals.
