The detector that goes and grows with you
At the heart of the DRX Family is the world’s first wireless, cassette-sized detector that works across all DRX imaging equipment.
Carestream’s three DRX detectors offer:
-
Wireless connectivity to eliminate the hassles and hazards of cables and reduce the risk of infection.
-
Instant access to images to speed decisions on patient care.
-
Ability to share detectors between any DRX room or mobile DRX system.
-
A separate battery charger that allows the detector to be used while a spare battery is being charged.
-
Sleep mode that extends battery life for fewer battery changes and lower costs.
-
Optional three-second exposure mode to enhance imaging with lower power x-ray generators and accommodate thicker body parts.
Choose a detector that best fits your imaging needs:
-
DRX-1 – The 2nd generation DRX wireless detector is faster, lighter and even more versatile to support greater workflow and productivity. It offers multiple exposures for long-length imaging (Not available in the USA), which can eliminate the need for CR and expedite orthopedic exams.
-
DRX- 1C – This cesium iodide detector offers the same benefits of the DRX-1 with high DQE and MTF making it an ideal fit for dose sensitive applications. DRX Detector Sharing Brochure
-
DRX 2530C – Our work-in-progress, smaller-format, cesium iodide detector is being designed for dose-sensitive pediatric applications and orthopedic imaging. The DRX 2530C detector is being designed for easy handling and fast, flexible positioning in incubator trays and tabletop imaging. DRX 2530C Detector Brochure
More than 6,000 DRX detectors are in clinical use worldwide.
