Gel Logic 2200 PRO Imaging System
The Gel Logic 2200 PRO is a fully automated system that offers ease of use, sophistication, sensitivity and performance for the basic research community. The Gel Logic 2200 PRO is designed for imaging fluorescence, luminescence and colorimetric data in sample formats such as gels (DNA/Coomassie/Silver stain) membranes, western blots and 96 well plates.
Features include a cooled 2.2 megapixel grade 0 CCD, motorized 12.5 mm to 75 mm 6x zoom lens, true 16-bit data capture, virtual illumination controls, a rollout trans-illuminator, and newly designed white light table.
Cooled CCD Camera
- Gel Logic 2200 PRO Camera Assembly contains the CCD camera and lensing system. This assembly is designed as a single serviceable unit
- The Gel Logic 2200 PRO Camera is cooled to –29°C below 0°C, absolute and regulated, to allow for the sensitive imaging of low light signals, such as chemiluminescence and faint fluorescence
- A motorized and automated 6x zoom lens allows continuous adjustment of the field of view from 4 x 5.4 cm to 23 x 31 cm
- A motorized 6 position filter wheel offers greater flexibility when imaging fluorescent samples. Drop-in filter design makes filter installation seamless.
Sensitive, high resolution imaging
- Cooled CCD delivers low noise and higher sensitivity imaging of chemiluminescence and low-light fluorescence
- 2.2 million pixels, a f1.2 lens and 6x zoom provides high resolution and increased sensitivity compared to other cameras in its price class.
Gel Logic PRO Cabinet
- Illumination Cabinet integrates both UV trans-illumination and epi-illumination.
- White light trans-illumination and epi white light are able to image a wide variety of colorimetric samples (Epi-UV option also available).
- Features a motorized 6 position filter wheel with “drop in" filter design
- The cabinet provides a light-tight environment for chemiluminescent imaging
- Rollout UV Transilluminator is standard, UV protection shield is optional.
Comprehensive Imaging Analysis with Molecular Imaging Software:
- Automatically find lanes and bands, and accurately generate molecular weight, mass and intensity data.
- Generate intensity, geometry, and positional data for any region of interest.
- Rapidly compare regions of interest to measure expression ratios, etc.
- Export data and images easily to popular third party formats
- Complete image display control as well as non-destructive annotations capability for convenient publication.
- WINDOWS and MACINTOSH (10.5) compatible.
